Occasional rains for parts of Luzon, Visayas on Thursday

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Luzon and Visayas will experience occasional rains on Thursday, July 31, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 5 pm bulletin Wednesday, July 30, PAGASA said these skies will affect Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol region, Cagayan Valley, Western Visayas, and the provinces of Zambales and Bataan.

Mimaropa will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

As of 4 pm, the center of Tropical Depression Inday was spotted at 605 km east of Basco, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km per hour. It will move north northwest at 19 km per hour.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the southwest over Luzon and Visayas, and from south to southwest over Mindanao.
