LPA now over Tagbilaran City

MANILA, Philippines – The low pressure area (LPA) was already spotted in the vicinity of Tagbilaran City on Thursday, August 28, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol region, Central Luzon, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms on Friday, August 29.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. 

Coastal seas will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the northeast to southeast over Luzon, and from the southeast to southwest over the rest of the country.
