Rainy Wednesday for Visayas, parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Luzon and the entire Visayas region should prepare for light to moderate rains on Wednesday, September 3, brought about by the low pressure area (LPA).

State weather bureau PAGASA spotted the LPA 400 kilometers east of Baler in Aurora at 4 pm on September 2, according to their bulletin.

The weather system will bring cloudy skies and light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Bicol in Luzon as well as in Visayas.

Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon and the entire region of Mindanao can expect only isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds will prevail all over the country making coastal waters slight to moderate.
