Cloudy Sunday for Mindanao due to southwest monsoon

MANILA, Philippines – Mindanao will have cloudy skies on Sunday, September 28, as the southwest monsoon continues to affect the area, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin on Saturday, PAGASA forecasts that Mindanao will also experience light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Winds will be slight to moderate, blowing from the northeast to northwest over Luzon and Visayas, and from southwest to west over Mindanao. Throughout the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
