MANILA, Philippines – It will be cloudy in parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday, October 5, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

The central Visayas region plus Negros Occidental, as well as the Zamboanga peninsula would experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, according to PAGASA’s 5 pm bulletin on Saturday.

PAGASA also said that an inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) would be affecting southern Mindanao.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Over the northern and eastern parts of Luzon, coastal waters will be moderate to rough, while the winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will be moderate to strong.

Elsewhere, coastal seas will be slight to moderate, with light to moderate winds from the northeast to northwest prevailing over the rest of Luzon, and from the west to southwest over the rest of the archipelago.
