MANILA, Philippines – Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies on Friday, October 24, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its weather bulletin on Thursday, October 23, PAGASA said that an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting Mindanao, while the northeast monsoon is affecting extreme northern Luzon.

As a result, eastern Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, it will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated light rains in the Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley regions.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and eastern Visayas, where coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, light to moderate winds will blow from the northeast to north, as seas along coastal areas will be slight to moderate.
