LPA nears Surigao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines – The low pressure area has moved closer to Surigao del Sur, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its November 25, 5 pm bulletin, the agency said it spotted the LPA 625 kilometers east of Hinatuan at 4 pm that day.

Mindanao and Eastern Visayas should be ready for light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms on Wednesday, November 26, PAGASA added.

Metro Manila and the rest of the archipelago, meanwhile, may experience isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The northern and eastern portions of the country must brace for moderate to strong winds from the east to northeast.

These winds will make coastal waters in these areas moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate leading to calmer seas.
