MANILA, Philippines – It will be a cloudy Thursday, December 18 for parts of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 24-hour public weather forecast on Wednesday, December 17, PAGASA said Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Bicol region and the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

A northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon, a tail-end of a cold front is affecting Central Luzon and Southern Luzon, and a trough of low pressure area (LPA) is affecting Mindanao.

The regions of Cordillera, Ilocos, the rest of Central Luzon and the rest of Cagayan Valley can expect cloudy skies with light rains.

Meanwhile, Metro manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Coastal seas along Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the northeast. Elsewhere, they will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the northeast.
