MANILA, Philippines – Mainland Luzon, including Metro Manila, and the island provinces in Eastern Visayas may experience light rains because of the norheast monsoon or “Amihan.”

In its 5 am daily weather bulletin issued Sunday, February 1, state weather bureau PAGASA said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Bicol, the province of Aurora, and the island provinces of Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light rains.

“Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains,” it said.

“The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partl cloudly to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms,” it added.

Seas will be moderate to rough in the entire archipelago because of the winds blowing from the northeast. – Rappler.com
