Still partly cloudy for parts of extreme N. Luzon Sunday

MANILA, Philippines – It will still be partly cloudy over three islands in the extreme Northern Luzon on Sunday, March 1, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Saturday, February 28, PAGASA said a weak northeast monsoon is still affecting extreme Northern Luzon. The islands of Batanes, Calayan, and Babuyan will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains in the next 24 hours. 

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Visayas and Eastern Mindanao, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the northeast to east.
