Cloudy Monday for northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of northern Luzon will have cloudy skies with light rains on Monday, March 2, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin, the weather agency said the islands of Batanes, Calayan, and Babuyan will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

A weak northeast monsoon is also affecting extreme northern Luzon, PAGASA added. 

Moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast will prevail over southern Luzon, Visayas and eastern Mindanao, causing coastal waters along these areas to be moderate to rough. E

lsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
