In its 5 pm bulletin Friday, April 17, PAGASA said cloudy skies will bring light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in the next 24 hours. 

The trough of a low pressure area is affecting Mindanao.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

Moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from the east to southeast over the eastern section of Luzon, causing moderate to occasionally rough seas.

Elsewhere, coastal seas will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the east to northeast.
