Low pressure area spotted off the coast of E. Samar

MANILA, Philippines – A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted 640 kilometers east of Eastern Samar by state weather bureau PAGASA at 4 pm on Tuesday, June 30.

Rainy weather is expected in certain parts of the country on Wednesday, July 1, namely:

• Mimaropa (Region 4B)
• Bicol region
• Visayas
• Mindanao

The rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, can expect isolated thunderstorms on that day.

The entire archipelago will experience light to moderate winds resulting in slight to moderate seas.
