Monsoon rains for Ilocos Region, Benguet on Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines – Ilocos Region and the province of Benguet will experience monsoon rains on Wednesday, July 15, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Tuesday, July 14, PAGASA said the monsoon rains may trigger flashfloods and landslides in the two areas. 

A southwest monsoon is affecting Luzon. 

Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and the rest of Cordillera will have occasional rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the southwest.
