MANILA, Philippines – Rappler’s multimedia reporters and contributors pooled their photos to capture devastating floods that submerged half the metropolis.

The photos in the Quezon City area — E. Rodriguez, Broadway extension bridge, and the San Juan River along Aurora Boulevard, and Roxas District – were taken by contributors Maurits van Linder, RLance Ch, Luis Liwanag, and Rappler’s Patricia Evangelista and Carmela Fonbuena.

The photo of a landslide in Litex, Bgy Commonwealth in Fairview which killed one and buried 8 was taken by Carlo Gabuco. Contributor Eduardo Arciga shared his photos of the Manggahan floodway and of people walking to their destination as transportation woes hit Metro Manila.
