MANILA, Philippines – The Summit of Conscience for the Climate kicks off on Friday, October 9. The Summit is a preamble to the COP 21 Climate Conference in Paris, and is a congregation of leaders concerned about the protection of the planet and the fight against climate change. 

Summit speakers and participants are also asked to sign The Call to Conscience (Panawagan sa Kalooban), which invites the country’s head of delegation to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) in November to December 2015 in Paris, France “to come to the conference primarily as a conscious human being not just a representative of the government.”
