MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines did not disappoint.

The talented UP Pep Squad defended their title and achieved their much-desired 3-peat -- tying the University of Santo Tomas for the most number of titles in the tournament's history with 8 wins. With their shaved heads and clean Freedom-themed routine, UP Pep came out on top, easily defeating the competition.

Far Eastern University, 2011's 2nd runner-up, climbed one step closer to the top after they finished just behind UP. The National University Pep Squad also accomplished an impressive third place finish, killing University of Santo Tomas' hopes to finish in the top 3. This is the second year in a row that UST has falied to do so.
