MANILA, Philippines - PBA D-League team NLEX Road Warriors wants to apply to join the professional league in 2013.

According to an article on Spin.PH, the team owned by wealthy businessman Manny V. Pangilinan must first get the approval of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) board -- at least three-fourths vote -- in order to join the team.

Among the stars of NLEX are UAAP and NCAA standouts Ian Sangalang, RR Garcia and Garvo Lanete, as well as Ateneo's Greg Slaughter.
