WATCH: Michael Jordan says ‘no question’ he’d beat LeBron in his prime
Michael Jordan doesn't shy away from answering some of the tough questions thrown his way at his camp

MANILA, Philippines – When Michael Jordan speaks, the entire basketball world listens. And often when he does take the microphone, he makes sure to leave an impression or two in a way only MJ can.

While in his Michael Jordan Flight School camp, the Chicago Bulls legend – considered by many as the greatest player ever in the NBA – participated in a question-and-answer portion with kids, most of whom didn’t hold back from asking His Airness the tough questions. The Q and A was posted on YouTube on August 9.

There were a lot of interesting portions, but none more than when Jordan was asked whether he could beat LeBron James, 4-time NBA MVP, in his prime.

James is widely recognized as the best player in the NBA today, and on many occasions has been called “The Next Michael Jordan” or has been put in a hypothetical one-on-one contest with MJ by those who want to determine who from the two was truly better.

Would Jordan, in the peak of his abilities, beat LeBron in such a contest?

“No question,” was all he answered, much to the applause of those in his camp.

Jordan was also asked about the player he would prefer to face right now, in his current 52-year-old body, between Steph Curry or LeBron in a one-on-one duel. Jordan picked Curry, citing as his reason his height advantage over the reigning NBA MVP.

The 6-time NBA champion also picked his college coach, Dean Smith, over his NBA coach, Phil Jackson, in a scenario where he needed a coach for a single game.

“Phil was lucky because I was taught the game by Dean Smith,” Jordan said.

The Bulls legend also touched on the debate that has been going around over the past few weeks on whether the all-time Los Angeles Lakers team could beat the all-time Bulls team.

We would beat em by fifty “what you think”. Let me know and don’t hold back

The debate led to an exchange of barbs by Shaquille O’Neal and Scottie Pippen on social media.

“I just felt like he was just talking. Interesting debate,” said Jordan about O’Neal. “The thing is, we will never know. I think we would have killed them. He thinks they would have killed us. You guys decide.”

Jordan also said that he and Kobe Bryant are “good friends.”

“I like Kobe. We talk a lot. I hope he comes back healthy. I think he’s one of the great players of the game. I think he’s got love for the game. He has true love for the game of basketball.”

Other questions Jordan answered were about Kwame Brown, his favorite music, Bugs Bunny, who’s the best trash talker he ever faced, and the Bad Boy Pistons. – Rappler.com
