WATCH: Kobe Paras puts on dunking exhibition
Basketball prodigy Kobe Paras took time out of his preparations for the FIBA Asia U-18 Championship to put on a dunk exhibition at La Salle Greenhills

MANILA, Philippines – The past few months have gone stellar for 16-year-old hoops prodigy Kobe Paras, and it looks like it’s only getting better.

The son of PBA legend Benjie Paras, Kobe has definitely inherited the basketball talents of his father, who won the PBA MVP award twice in his career.

Not that long ago, the young Paras moved to the United States to play high school basketball for Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, and has garnered interest from Division I and Division II NCAA universities in the country.

But right now, Paras is back in the Philippines to train as he looks to lead the country’s national team in the FIBA Asia U-18 Championship.

Over the past few days, Paras was back in his old school, La Salle Greenhills, to catch up and play hoops with his former teammates.

During a break in their pick-up games, Paras dunked over three of his former teammates, and his elder brother, Andre Paras, captured the moment on video.

The elder Paras brother also posted a video on his Instagram page a few days prior of Kobe leaping over him for a slam:

Andre spent Season 76 of the UAAP in 2013 playing in his freshman year for the UP Fighting Maroons, but transferred over the summer of 2014 to San Beda College, where he will play for the Red Lions in the NCAA. Rappler.com
