WATCH: Former NBA players behave badly in wild Chinese basketball game

MANILA, Philippines – Everybody expects playoff basketball to be intense, but there are just some lines you don’t cross.

During a Chinese Basketball Association quarterfinals game between Qingdao DoubleStar and Shanxi Zhongyu on Wednesday, February 11, NBA journeyman Von Wafer of Shanxi Zhongyu got a bit too worked up, leveling a Chinese opponent with as hard and flagrant a low blow as one could imagine. 

Wafer, who played stints with the Lakers, Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic from 2005-2012, was ejected, but not before throwing a chair into the crowd.

Wafer finished the game with 23 points, 4 rebounds, a low blow and one front row seat relocated to the nosebleed section.

The action didn’t end there, however. 

Iranian big man and former Phoenix Sun Hamed Haddadi tried to give a post-game hug to former Golden State Warrior and New York Knick Jeremy Tyler to quell the violence, only to be shoved away by the irrate Tyler.

Both sides seemed interested with settling the action further. Luckily for them, their locker rooms were in the same tunnel, providing easy access to post-game fisticuffs.
