Coming off an easy 101-45 victory over Thailand on Saturday, Batang Gilas improved to 2-0 in the 6-team tournament where the top 3 finishers will gain spots in the 2016 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship in Iran in July.

Alain Madrigal led the team in scoring with 23 points while NU Bulldogs commit Joshua Sinclair had 18 points and 7 boards off the bench. Theo Flores and John Bahio also played as well reserves with 19 and 12 points, respectively. 

Jolo Mendoza, the team captain, finished with 7 points while Jonas Tibayan scored 10.
