Brownlee to be Ginebra’s import for next two conferences

MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra’s well-known hero Justin Brownlee will be returning as the team’s import for the last two conferences of the 2016-17 PBA season – the Commissioner’s Cup and the Governors’ Cup.

His agent, Sheryl Reyes, confirmed the news to Rappler in a text message, saying Brownlee will be arriving on March 6 and will promptly train with the Gin Kings.

Brownlee, who watched Ginebra in the 2017 Philippine Cup quarterfinals against the Alaska Aces, last saw action for the Mighty Sports-Philippines ballclub in Dubai.

The Gin Kings are currently in the thick of a best-of-7 finals series against the San Miguel Beermen, with the series tied at 1-1. – Rappler.com
