The day’s opening game saw AMA University bounce back from its loss to MJM with an 83-76 triumph over Racal Motors.

Jamil Ortouste paced Racal with 21 points as his team slipped to a 1-4 record. 

In the third game, Breadstory-Lyceum notched their own convincing win over MJM Builders-FEU, 108-97, and rose to a 2-3 slate. 

Six players scored in double digits with Jackson Corpuz, Ed Daquioag and Jiovanni Jalalon ahead of the pack with 16 points apiece. Joseph Gabayni was a near second with 15 points.

Mac Belo exploded with 30 points for MJM but it wasn’t enough as Breadstory began pulling away late in the third.
