WATCH: PWR Live full matches

MANILA, Philippines – PWR Live dazzled Filipino pro wrestling fans on Saturday, August 15, at the Makati Square Arena in Makati City.

It was headlined by an epic yet controversial Philippine Wrestling Revolution (PWR) Championship match between “Classical” Bryan Leo and “The Senyorito” Jake de Leon.

Eight wrestlers also took part in qualifying matches in a tournament to crown the first-ever Philippine Hybrid X (PHX) Champion. (READ: The best of the best at PWR Live)

A match between PWR veteran Bombay Suarez and The Royal Flush’s “Cutthroat” John Sebastian kicks off PWR Live. It was Suarez who challenged Sebastian to a fight, after Sebastian got involved at the (second) PWR championship main event of Wrevolution X.

Then, in the first of 4 qualifying matches in the PHX Title Tournament, Mayhem Brannigan’s mettle is put to the test against the brute Miguel Rosales of the Fighters 4 Hire tag team.

Up next is SANDATA of the Dual Shock tag team going up against fan favorite Chris Panzer in another PHX Title tournament first round match.

To cap off the first half of PWR Live, Mark D. Manalo issues an open challenge to any of the PWR Bootcampers. But a menacing monster answered the call: The Apocalypse!

In a thrilling 3rd PHX Championship tournament match, the small but terrific Ralph Imabayashi battles Dual Shock’s Peter Versoza.

For the final tournament bout, Joey Bax of Fighters 4 Hire takes the fight to the wily “The Social Media Sinister” Ken Warren.

And in the main event, “Classical” Bryan Leo attempts to hold on to the PWR Championship, while “The Senyorito” Jake de Leon seeks to reclaim what is rightfully his.
