Capellan of Pililla, Rizal topped his rivals with a D score of 6.500 and then followed it up with an E score of 8.233 for a total of 14.733 points which was enough to hold off silver medalist Wah Toon Hoe of Singapore’s 14.566 points. 

Vietnam athlete Phuoc Hung Pham came in at third with 14.500 points while Rafael Ablaza from the Philippines, who was the only athlete that didn’t crack a D score of at least 5.000, finished dead last with 13.400 points. 

The Philippines currently has 10 golds, 13 silvers, and 25 bronzes, but remains in the 7th place in the medal standings.
