Check out some of the key moments during the UAAP Cheerdance Competition

MANILA, Philippines – The annual UAAP Cheerdance Competition took place on Saturday, November 19, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

Although perennial contender UP opted not to participate in this year’s competition, the 7 other schools in the collegiate league still provided the usual excitement which drew delight from the crowd at The Big Dome.

Here are some of the highlights of each team’s performance.

The action started with the DLSU Animo Squad providing a performance which theme focused on unity, specifically of all UAAP universities.

The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe went with an Indian theme which included some colorful outfits.

The Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion did not have the cleanest of routines, but did have some cool props.

The FEU Cheering Squad made quite some noise on social media with their uniforms, and then went broadway with the performance.

In what was one of the more surprising developments of the Cheerdance Competition, the Adamson Pep Squad came out with a well-executed routine which easily put them in contention for victory.

UE went matador with its showing, and all that was lacking was a charging bull.

And, of course, the NU Pep Squad was close to flawless.
