UP Fighting Maroon Jerson Prado stretchered off after apparent knee injury
University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons forward Jerson Prado was stretchered off the court during a game against Adamson after appearing to hurt his knee

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons forward Jerson Prado was stretchered off the court at the Mall of Asia Arena and rushed into an ambulance after suffering an apparent knee injury in the second quarter of his team’s game against the Adamson Soaring Falcons on Sunday, October 4, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The injury took place after Prado landed from a rebound attempt with 3:04 to go in the second period.

Upon descending on the playing court, Prado’s right knee buckled awkwardly, and the 6-foot-5 athlete instantly crashed to the floor and looked in clear pain.

The Soaring Falcons currently lead the Fighting Maroons, 47-28 at the half.

According to UP board member Ronnie Dizer, Prado dislocated the patella on his right knee. There’s a strong possibility he may miss the rest of the UAAP season. – Rappler.com
