Lesline Anne: i think the writer is just saying that it’s time for the filipino movie industry to level-up. For me, kaya nabobobo ang pilipino dahil sa mga ganitong pelikula.

Len Recio: I am a mother and i love every moment of it. Not a single poop or projectile vomit will make me think otherwise. However, parenthood is not for everybody. You got my respect for choosing not to have any. There’s nothing wrong with that. Screw what society thinks, you do what is best for you. As long as you’re not doing yourself nor anyone else around you any harm, everyone can just mind their own shit. All the best!

Renaming Commonwealth Avenue after the late leader of the Iglesia ni Cristo raised a lot of eyebrows, and brought the question of secularism to light. Would you be okay with the renaming?

Joseph Guillermo: The renaming of “Commonwealth” (an express reference to the ideals our Republic strives to achieve) in favor of a leader of vocal minority is very telling on the priorities of our present politics.

We told you Zig’s review was hot stuff! 

Iris Castro: I respect the writer’s opinion. But I reckon, film viewers also have the right to choose which among these films to watch. Movie goers were not forced to watch My Little Bossings, it was their own will. And I guess, there was no “masquerading” in the intentions of the film producers. It’s pretty obvious that they (Kris and Vic and other producers) decided to match Ryzza and Bimby for another yet obvious reason – they are both bankable especially the former. Although I know, this movie is not the best comedy film ever but people still chose to watch it to be entertained not to be educated. Hindi naman ipinilit ng “nakakabobong” pelikula na ito na panooring ng PINOY para lalo silang “mabobo”. Kung ayaw nilang “mabobo” eh di manood sila ng ibang mas may substance at may social relevance ang plot. Hindi kasalanan ng pelikulang ito na tumabo sila sa takilya. Pero kung sa tingin ng iba na nakakabobo ito pero pinanood pa rin nila, yun ay dahil ginusto nila. Just saying.
