MANILA, Philippines – Users of Globe’s prepaid Wi-Fi service, Globe At Home Prepaid Wi-Fi, can now avail of a very wallet-friendly data package offering 1GB of data for just P15.

The cost of the new promo is quite appealing, given that P50 is the typical rate for 1GB of data on Globe’s prepaid home Wi-Fi kit and on mobile devices on either Globe or Smart. For typical social media use, 1GB is more than enough. But for those who watch a lot of YouTube and Netflix videos, 1GB can be depleted in a few hours. However, users can’t outright register for the promo. You’d have to register first with GoSURF50, which costs P50, and gives 1GB of data for 3 days. Once registered, you can then avail of HomeSURF15, which offers the P15/1GB rate valid for one day. On the plus side, you’ll be able to register for HomeSURF15 for as many times as you want until your GoSURF50 registration expires in 3 days. 

Along with HomeSURF15 are HomeSURF promos with bigger data allocations available too: HomeSURF349 nets users 10 GB of data for P349 valid for 10 days, while HomeSURF599 offers 15 GB of data for P599 valid for 30 days.

You’ll also need to download the Globe At Home app, an account management tool that monitors data use and allows for easy reloading, to avail of the HomeSURF promos.
