MANILA, Philippines – Electronics manufacturer Oppo announced Wednesday, October 29, the arrival of the latest of its N series smartphones – the Oppo N3 – which the company touts as the world’s most innovative smartphone yet.

The N3 is powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core CPU, with 32GB of storage space and 2GB of RAM. It also takes advantage of a 5.5 inch screen made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The N3 runs on its own take of the Android operating system, called ColorOS.

The Oppo N3 improves on the N Series’ signature rotating camera. It’s a 16-megapixel camera, allowing for 3 different modes of control: through the phone’s touch screen, through Oppo’s O-Click gadget, and through a scroll bar on the rear of the device.

Oppo’s N3 will also feature the company VOOC mini rapid charging system, which enables the N3 to charge 75% of its battery within 30 minutes.
