‘Undo send’ officially a feature on Gmail
Undo Send lets Gmail users cancel a sent email immediately after sending

MANILA, Philippines – Gmail users now have a new feature they can use to take back emails they’ve just sent.

Announced on Monday, June 22, the new feature – called Undo Send – lets Gmail users cancel a sent email immediately after sending.

The feature is turned off by default for those not currently using the version on Gmail Labs, but can be quickly enabled by going to your settings, clicking the General tab, and then looking for the Undo Send option. You can set the feature to give you a 5 to 30 second window to take back your sent emails as well.

Those currently using the Labs version of Undo Send will have the setting turned on by default.

To test the feature, users can try sending a quick email to a friend. If Undo Send is enabled, the top of your screen should read “Your message has been sent. Undo. View Message.” Click on Undo to take back your request to have that email sent. – Rappler.com
