MANILA, Philippines – Facebook is testing its Reactions – its enhanced form of the like button – in the Philippines.

The new system, which began testing Tuesday, November 17, lets users choose among like, love, “haha,” “wow,” “confused,” “sad,” and “angry” emoji on Facebook posts on the site, as well as on mobile devices. Facebook will adjust the Reactions system depending on how it’s used.

To add a Reaction, users can hold down the Like button on mobile devices to bring up a menu for the reaction image options. Users on desktops in the Philippines, meanwhile, can hover their cursor on the like button to see the reaction image options, then click the one they’d like to use.

It was earlier reported that this feature would be tested in Spain and Ireland, chosen for the two countries’ extensive international friend networks for both Enlglish and non-English speaking users. – Rappler.com
