We take a look at two interesting computer monitors unveiled by LG at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, a 30-inch 4K display, and a 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide QHD display

LAS VEGAS, USA – There is nothing sexy about a computer monitor but we found two from LG at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show that are worth the attention.

The first is a 4K monitor, a 30-inch display with a 4096 x 2160 resolution. The monitor has 2 HDMI and 2 Thunderbolt ports and is compatible with both Mac and PCs. Pricing and availability is not yet available but expect this to come with a premium price tag.

We were also drawn to an ultra-wide monitor, LG says it is the world’s first 34-inchUltraWide QHD Monitor. The ultra-wide monitor has a unique 21:9 aspect ration and has a 3440 x 1440 resolution. Connectivity options include Thundbolt 2, Display Port, and HDMI.
