Floods and landslide warnings in parts of Luzon

Areas prone to landslides and floods in Luzon should be prepared for the worst as heavy rains are expected over the region due to the Southwest Monsoon, according to PAGASA. Specific areas include the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Mimaropa, Bataan province and Zambales province. Metro Manila and the rest of Central Luzon should be ready for occasional rains on Wednesday. The rest of the country will have isolated thunderstorms and partly cloudy skies. After tropical storm Egay, another typhoon is brewing in the pacific. Typhoon Falcon (Chan-Hom) is expected to traverse the north eastern corner of the Philippine Area of Responsibility and move northwest. Expect more wet weather in the coming days.
