MANILA, Philippines – This week, #TalkThursday speaks with Bowei Gai and Ron Hose.

In the beginning of 2013, he embarked on a 9-month long mission covering 29 countries and 36 cities to do research on the world’s startup ecosystems.

To date, he has visited India, Australia, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. The World Startup Report has since released The China Startup Report and The India Startup Report.

Ron Hose is an investor and adviser to many Silicon Valley start-ups. Hose a founding partner at Innovation Endeavors, an early stage venture capital fund. He was also a co-founder of the company TokBox, a consumer video conferencing company connecting customers from around the world.
