MANILA, Philippines – What do kids really think of social media?

For many children these days, seeing adults scroll through their Facebook and Twitter accounts for hours on end is probably a common experience. “Instagram,” and “Pinterest” are probably familiar words to them after having to sit through conversations between adults and teenagers. Comedian Mark Malkoff asks a group of kids what they make of it.

In the candid way of children, they raised questions like “You really have 3000 friends?” and, “Why does my mom take pictures of her breakfast and put it on Facebook?”

Take a second look at your social media behavior from the perspective of a child. You might find that there’s something a little funny about how you use social networks.
