MANILA, Philippines – Commuting to work could be a dreary routine. Especially in the mornings.
But the humdrum of the daily grind of those who took New York City’s subway train during the morning of July 28 was shattered, as the Broadway cast of The Lion King musical hopped on the train and gave commuters a rousing performance.
This is not the first time for The Lion King to break out into song in public transport. Last April, on a flight from Brisbane to Sydney, the Australian production cast did the same, much to the delight of everyone on board.
