UNITED NATIONS - The UN Security Council will meet at 9:00 am (1400 GMT) on Tuesday, February 12, for emergency consultations on a suspected nuclear weapons test by North Korea, a UN diplomat said.

South Korea is the current president of the 15-country Security Council and had been calling for strong action against its arch-rival neighbor in the event of a nuclear test. - Rappler.com
