MANILA, Philippines - US President Barack Obama faced the American people and spoke about the major issues facing the United States and the world in his annual State of the Union speech Tuesday, February 12 (Wednesday, February 13 in Manila).
Obama had the US economy at the center of his speech, particularly job creation, as he starts his second term.
He is also talked about gun control, immigration, and the US government's fiscal health - only some of many pressing dilemmas facing Americans, with global repercussions.
