About Armando dela Cruz
Armand is Rappler's self-proclaimed multi-passionate '90s scream queer – keeping hopeless obsessions for horror media, movies, and queer culture.
Seduced at first by Mad Men, Armand, by trade, was a copywriter. Routinely overcome by his love for movies and pop culture, he found himself returning to write film criticism and commentary online before officially joining Rappler as a Senior Content Strategist in 2021.
Armand also leads Unreel, an indie movie blog on Philippine cinema.
