Beatrice (pronounced as Bee-trice) goes by the nickname Bee because most people can’t say her name right.
She covers Philippine sports governance, national teams, football and helps out with the UAAP.
During her time with Rappler, Bee has covered the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in Clark.
She is also a member of the Women In News and Sport program by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since 2018 and was chosen to cover and undergo training during the 2019 Arafura Games in Darwin.
Bee used to be a competitive swimmer and represented Ateneo in the UAAP before focusing on campus journalism as the sports editor of The GUIDON.
Despite her busy schedule, Bee makes it a point to workout everyday, bake for her family and friends and is hardcore BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) ARMY 💜
