About Gaby Baizas

Gaby Baizas is a digital communications specialist at Rappler. Journalism is her first love, social media is her second—here, she gets to dabble in both.

She graduated Honorable Mention with a degree in Communication from the Ateneo de Manila University. She spent all four years in college writing for The GUIDON, the university’s official student publication. She headed the publication’s social media staff, and later served as managing editor.

She hopes people learn to read past headlines the same way she hopes punk never dies. When she’s not working, she spends her time curating Spotify playlists, reading astrology posts, and rehearsing snarky one-liners.
