Rambo Talabong covers for Rappler the Philippine National Police, local governments, and President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.

Even before completing his degree in communication degree at the Ateneo de Manila University, he already did research and field work for Rappler’s investigations into the drug war killings in the poor communities in Manila.

Rambo wrote for The Guidon (English) and Matanglawin (Filipino), student publications of the Ateneo. He later served as editor in chief of Matanglawin.
