American Music Awards 2013: the nominees

MANILA, Philippines – US awards season kicks off with the 2013 American Music Awards (AMAs) on November 24.

They may pop those tags plucked from the humble thrift shop, but Macklemore & Ryan Lewis struck gold with no less than 6 nominations, including Artist of The Year. Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake follow the lead with 5 nominations each.

The 2013 AMAs will be held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Among the confirmed acts for the night are Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and One Direction. Pitbull hosts the ceremonies.
