Biking around the metro or on trails out of town is a hobby shared by many. It's eco friendly, can save you money on transportation, and can serve as your exercise for the day. It's also an activity you can do alone or with friends.
Then there's the incredible view when you bike in popular trails found in La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City, or those in Tanay, Rizal, Explo trail in Bulacan, or even inside private subdivisions.
2. Be one with nature

When was the last time you went camping?
There are places you can go to that aren't that expensive. And they offer more than camping. There's diving, snorkelling, building a campfire and making smores! Just be prepared for the long transit since it will take you a few hours to get to these camping sites. But it will be worth the drive.
3. Back in the club
ANVAYA COVE. With its beach and nature club, golf and sports club, 3 restaurants, a beach with fine sand and clear water, it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind with your loved ones. Photo courtesy of Anvaya Cove
Being a member in a club can sometimes be really convenient. If you don't want to stress out when you plan your weekend or day trip, this can really work for you. Plus, you'll have a lot of activities to choose from when you get there such as swimming, biking, hiking and playing golf. And great food awaits you!
4.Make the most out of your beach trip

When you go on your next beach trip, take some time to walk on the shoreline and enjoy the view. You don't have to wander off too far. Forget about all the stress and problems even for a few minutes and just enjoy the moment.
It’s healthy to have some quiet time alone especially after a night of drinking and dancing with some friends.

A vacation doesn't always have to be on a long weekend or overnight. And it doesn't have to be expensive. There are available tour packages or even surfing trips for the day. Not only will you get yourself moving, you can learn a thing or two as well.
6. Discover and explore – travel alone
FREEDOM. It could be your eat, pray love, moment or just a time you can go explore on your own and make new friends. Photo courtesy of Gus Lacson
There are a lot to consider when traveling alone – budget, safety, destination, transportation – but when you're old enough to make your own decisions then it may be time to give this a try.
You can also learn more about yourself and of the places you visit when you go on a solo trip. You get to be more responsible with your valuables (and actions) and you learn how to be independent.
If you're used to taking your car, keep in mind that the option of taking public transport can be convenient too. Just keep in mind these tips for traveling alone.
So do some research and plan your trips or activiites to get the most out of your day or weekend.
