A magical Christmas with Ariel Rivera at Resorts World Manila

Top balladeer Ariel Rivera and the UP Singing Ambassadors are set to headline the annual Christmas Day concert dubbed “Holiday Magical Melodies” on December 25, 7 pm in Resorts World Manila (RWM). This will be open to the public. 

Having released platinum albums since he first burst into the music scene in 1991, the multi-awarded singer-songwriter and actor performs in one unique concert with one of the country’s most awarded chorale groups. 

Ariel is known as the 90’s “Kilabot ng Kolehiyala” (the college heartthrob) as he immortalized numerous pop hits including “Sana Kahit Minsan,” “Ayoko Na Sana,” “Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin,” “Sa Aking Puso,” and “Sana Ngayong Pasko,” among others.

Aside from his illustrious singing career, the versatile artist has also ventured into acting. In theater, he played the character of Captain Georg von Trapp in RWM’s 2012 production of “The Sound of Music.” He has also appeared in several movies and television shows. He currently stars in GMA Network’s Hahamakin Ang Lahat.

On Christmas Day, Ariel shares the stage with the chorale group who has consistently brought prestige to the country by winning various international awards in Italy, Hungary, France, Bulgaria, Wales, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.  

Together, Ariel and the UP Singing Ambassadors will spread holiday cheer and perform a Christmas serenade to guests celebrating Christmas at the country’s premier entertainment and tourism destination.

The concert treat is part of RWM’s Grand Fiesta Manila (GFM) festivities this year with the theme “The Magic is Everywhere.” A fete of thrilling special events, promos in dining and shopping, and more superb offerings happen daily at GFM culminating with the second New Year’s Eve Grand Countdown celebrations at the Marriott Grand Ballroom headlined by Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Jon Santos.

Guests are also invited to attend the Christmas Day holy mass at The Plaza,11 am, to be concelebrated by Bishop Leopoldo S. Tumulak and Rev. Fr. Anton Pascual.
