MANILA, Philippines – Managing your own finances is a big enough responsibility as it is. Being able to do so with less stress is a privilege that many wish to experience with their respective banks.

Bank clients often complain about inter-branch transaction fees or restrictive fund transfers and complicated mobile banking. Patricia Tan, First Vice President of Security Bank says that people shouldn’t settle for something that hassles them. “You can switch and get something better,” she says.

On Sunday, November 8, Security Bank launched their All Access account in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City by organizing a picket line of fifty women in blue dresses. Their purpose was simple – to raise awareness that people can experience hassle-free banking.

The launch happened concurrently in malls in Makati, Greenhills, Cebu and Davao.

President and CEO of Security Bank Yogi Salcedo says that the concept of having a picket line was to tell their clients that they do have a choice to say ‘no’ to common bank-related hassles. It is also a way for their different branches to come together and be involved in the launch of their product. He adds, “We think that we have a strong product. It has some unique features that no other banks have.” 

Tan also says that the main purpose of the picket line is to connect and start a conversation with both clients and non-clients, who should know they do have an alternative.

Better banking made available

Security Bank’s All Access account is a CASA (Current Account, Savings Account) product that can be opened with an initial deposit of P5,000 ($106). It includes a passbook, a checkbook upon request, and an instant Everyday Debit ATM MasterCard for online and local and international shopping without pre registration.
