In celebration of Women’s Month, Avon Philippines debuted the first-ever #SpeakOut Art Collective, an art exhibit and auction featuring Filipina artists in support of the campaign against domestic violence.

When it comes to brands for women, there’s one that’s always on the list. For over 135 years, Avon has been a pioneer in listening to women’s needs and speaking out for them.

Avon is not just a beauty company. It’s also a global movement dedicated to women. They are committed to connecting people through affordable beauty products and using these to transform women’s lives for the better.

The company has a strong presence in the Philippines – with 190 branches and a large number of Avon representatives all over the country. This month, they’re also at the forefront of celebrating and supporting Filipino women in line with International Women’s Day 2021.

Over the past month, Avon has launched several events and campaigns. Learn more about these initiatives here:

#SpeakOut Art Collective

One of Avon’s longest campaigns is against domestic violence. This year, they launched the first-ever #SpeakOut Art Collective to further support this campaign.

Officially launched during an online event livestreamed on Avon’s Facebook page on March 19, the art exhibit features the works of Nicole Concepcion, Denise Heredia, Bea Policarpio, Tammy De Roca, Cru Camara, Tyang Karyel, Gabby Prado, Mara Fabella, Ciane Xavier,  and Bree Jonson.

These artworks are also up for auction on Avon’s website. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Avon’s partner organizations that have been helping rescue and support victims of domestic violence.

#SpeakOut fundraising products

Aside from the auction, the company also launched a limited edition line of fundraising products. The collection includes a wide range of Avon products, including the women’s empowerment umbrella, Avon #SpeakOut Lipstick, Evita watch, and Avon Love yourself jewelry set.

#WatchMeNow selfie campaign

Aside from the #SpeakOut initiative, the company also has a few online campaigns that are geared towards uplifting women.

The #WatchMeNow selfie campaign is a global initiative that aims to collect one million stories from women all over the world. The stories share the theme of becoming, overcoming, and winning big amid various challenges. This is also in support of the United Nations Women’s Generation Equality campaign.

#LetHerBe online campaign

Meanwhile, the #LetHerBe online campaign places a label on Avon’s support for women and helps them become more confident in their skin and their own goals.

Even if March is almost drawing to a close, supporting women doesn’t have to end. Visit the Avon website and Facebook page for more updates on these initiatives. –
