MANILA, Philippines – Today’s children have been spending time at home more than ever. They have an unprecedented amount of free time to play and watch their favorite shows on YouTube. But as we are expecting to stay indoors a bit longer, parents should also start incorporating learning activities to children’s everyday routines.

Modules can be easily accessed for free at the Ready eCademy playlist found at the NESTLE PH YouTube Channel. These modules are being conducted by certified teachers from the Galileo Enrichment Learning Program. 

You may choose from subjects that range from Math, Science, Language, Visual Arts, Values Formation, Critical Thinking, Health, Hygiene, Nutrition, and even Fundamental Movement. And these are not just for kids, parents can definitely join and bond with children over these activities, too.

Mommy Lianca 

Mommy Lianca is a home-based mom. When her 11-year-old son could still go to school physically, she would always check his homework when he comes home. But now that face-to-face classes are not yet encouraged, Mommy Lianca has the responsibility to teach her son.

Both she and her son found the NESTLE Ready eCademy modules fun, interesting, and useful.

“We both enjoyed watching and doing the modules. Most especially Milo Ready to Drink’s Cardio: A-Z workout with kids. He even bookmarked the page. Since he loves playing basketball, he has minimal physical activities at home. He told me he will use the video as his exercise guide.”

Mommy Pehpot

Mommy Pehpot has 5 kids aged 16, 15, 12, 10, and 4. She made sure to subscribe to the channel as she prepares to teach her kids at home.

“The best thing about it is the materials needed are not that hard to find. And some of it we usually throw away but with this activity, we were able to reuse it!”

She recommends that whatever type of learning (online, modular, offline, blended) parents chose for their kids, the modules would be a great resource for fun and learning home activities.

Mommy Brigitte

Mommy Brigitte is a working mom so she finds resources like the Nestle Ready eCademy modules useful as she teaches her 8-year-old from home. 

Apart from the usual subjects, Mommy Brigitte likes teaching her son important life-skills such as decision-making and critical thinking.

“If we encounter problems at home, sometimes I let him decide or think what would be the best solution or what can he suggest to solve the problem. This way, he is already practicing his decision-making skills at a young age.” 

The NESTLE Ready eCademy activities helped her bring these skills out of her child better.

“I would recommend these modules not just for working parents but also for stay at home moms or dads in case they ran out of ideas to teach and bond with their children.”
